Education Horoscope is a horoscope reading — where the planets stand against your moon sign or chart right now, and what the transiting sky says for this period.
Horoscopic astrology grows from the Vedanga Jyotisha seed through the Siddhanta age — the Parashari system of houses, dasas and transits that India has run daily for fifteen centuries, and the parallel Hellenistic tradition of nativities and revolutions in the west.
The traditional astrologer computed the day's graha positions from the ephemeris (the panchangam), laid them over the birth chart, and read the transit effects by house. The dasa and the gochara together made the forecast.
The module computes real planetary longitudes for the date, maps them to your moon sign or birth chart, and reads the transit through the classical house meanings.
Vedic readings use the sidereal chart (Lahiri ayanamsa) judged from the moon sign or lagna; western readings use the tropical sun sign.
Gochara is the transiting planet — the moving sky laid over the fixed birth chart, house by house.
In Vedic astrology the moon is the mind's sign — most daily forecasts are judged from the moon's rasi, not the sun's.
