Paper Crane

Fold paper step by step into origami cranes. Each one flutters up to the string where your growing flock perches β€” toward a thousand, where a wish is said to be granted.

The folding ritual
  • Five taps, one crane
Each tap creases the paper β€” square to triangle to kite to bird base to crane β€” with a soft paper-rustle and a little pop as the fold lands.
  • A growing flock
Every crane gets its own pastel hue and perches on the string above. Tap a perched crane and it flaps once. The string sways gently as the flock grows.
  • Toward a thousand
Senbazuru β€” the legend says a thousand cranes grant a wish. The counter tracks your way there, and keeps count of how many you fold each day.
  • A quiet workspace
A dark desk, paper dust in the air, a string waiting for its flock β€” nothing else needed.
