Tiny Door

A tiny door permanently exists on your desktop. Nobody knows exactly what’s behind it. Every few days, something changes.

Look at the door
Try it live
It is only day one — the door is closed. But it watches the calendar, not you. Something will change.
The mystery
  • It changes on its own days
Day 1 the door is closed. Around day 3 light appears underneath. Day 5, knocking. Day 7, it stands open a crack. Day 10 — a tiny room. Day 15: the room has another door.
  • You can knock
Tap the door and it answers in kind — soft knocks on closed days, knock-backs during the knocking phase, a slow creak once it’s open.
  • It lives quietly
Dust drifts, a moth circles the light when there is light, knocks come unannounced. The door needs nothing from you — which is the point.
  • Nobody knows
What’s behind the second door? It changes too — on its own days. The mystery keeps going as long as you keep the door.
