Rasi Chart (D-1) is a birth-chart reading — the natal chart drawn from your birth moment, with the placements and the divisional/bhava analysis this module focuses on.
The natal chart — the sky as a twelve-house wheel anchored to the rising sign — is the foundation of Parashari Jyotisha. The varga (divisional) system multiplies it into sixteen harmonic charts, each specializing in one domain — D9 for marriage, D10 for career — a tradition going back to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra.
The traditional astrologer drew the rasi chart first, then the navamsa, then whichever varga the question needed. Every placement was read twice — once in the birth chart, once in its division — before a word was spoken.
| 1 | Rasi (D-1) | The birth chart itself — the whole-sign map every other division refines. |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Hora (D-2) | Each sign halved — the wealth division; read for money and accumulation. |
| 3 | Drekkana (D-3) | Each sign in three — the sibling and courage division. |
| 4 | Chaturthamsa (D-4) | Quarters of a sign — property, residence and fortune. |
| 5 | Saptamsa (D-7) | Sevenths — children and progeny. |
| 6 | Navamsa (D-9) | Ninths — the most-weighted division: marriage, dharma and the soul's strength. |
| 7 | Dasamsa (D-10) | Tenths — career, status and public works. |
| 8 | Dwadasamsa (D-12) | Twelfths — parents and the lineage. |
| 9 | Shodasamsa (D-16) | Sixteenths — vehicles, comforts and the pleased mind. |
| 10 | Vimsamsa (D-20) | Twentieths — worship, devotion and spiritual merit. |
| 11 | Chaturvimsamsa (D-24) | Twenty-fourths — learning and knowledge. |
| 12 | Saptavimsamsa (D-27) | Twenty-sevenths — strength and weakness. |
| 13 | Trimsamsa (D-30) | Thirtieths — misfortune, evils and the character's shadow. |
| 14 | Khavedamsa (D-40) | Fortieths — the maternal line's fortune and auspiciousness. |
| 15 | Akshavedamsa (D-45) | Forty-fifths — character and general indications. |
| 16 | Shashtiamsa (D-60) | Sixtieths — the finest grain; past-life karma and the chart's deepest layer. |
Enter the birth details — date, time and place — and the module computes the chart from real ephemeris positions, then reads the pattern the classical way, with the reasons shown.
The birth chart — the twelve-house map of the sky at your birth moment, anchored to the lagna rising on the eastern horizon.
The ninth division of the chart — each sign split into nine — traditionally read for marriage and the soul's strength.
Each varga magnifies one domain — D10 career, D7 children — so a single question gets a chart built for it.
